The Effectiveness of a Program Based on Post-Constructivist Theory Using Web Applications to Develop English Language Proficiency among Al-Quds Open University Students

The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of a program based on post constructivist theory using web applications to develop English language proficiency among Al-Quds Open University Students in Palestine. In order to achieve the aim of the study the researcher adopted experimental research design. The sample of this study consists of (60) English –major students from Al-Quds Open University. The participants students were assigned randomly to a control and experimental group (30 and 30 students respectively). Data collection tools included: a critical reading and an academic writing test, a questionnaire, and interviews . The results of the study showed that there is a significant difference in the mean scores of the post-test between the control group and experimental group in favor of experimental group.
